We had seen something about dining with an Imagineer at the Brown Derby in Hollywood Studios. Is that still possible?

    Heigh-Ho Thomas,

Once Upon a Time, The Hollywood Brown Derby offered a special experience that gave Guests the opportunity to exclusively dine with an Imagineer. This intimate dining event invited Guests to partake in a four-course meal as a Disney Imagineer introduced them to the wonders and magic of their Walt Disney World projects. Guests delighted in the opportunity to experience a scrumptiously choreographed array of culinary creativity served before them as well as listen to the artistry and inventiveness of an Imagineers work being brought to life before them. But, alas, at the moment this dining experience is currently unavailable and I hope this opportunity still has a Happily Ever After.

Walt Disney World continues to monitor what is best for Guests and Cast Members and in doing so is methodically reintroducing and reopening many of our favorites in a timely fashion. I suggest keeping an EAR out by following the Disney Parks Blog for further information. In the meantime, you now have me craving their Famous Cobb Salad with a glass of Chardonnay. But I digress, if I can answer any further curiouser and curiouser inquiries feel free to ask, stay up to date on the new Disney Genie service and check out our Instagram (@planDisneypanel) and Panel Extras for more vacation planning tips.

    Have a Practically Perfect Day,

    Amy M.

Meet the Panelist: Amy, Virginia

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
