    Hi, I have seen that there is a sale on resorts this summer. We are booked for the pop century, is it worth it to upgrade to the Animal Kingdom lodge. What perks would I gain? Also do they rent wheelchairs? Thanks

    Hi Jeremy - You can rent wheelchairs at all of the Walt Disney World theme parks.  They are available in the same place you rent strollers but availability is not guaranteed.

    My family absolutely loves the Animal Kingdom Lodge.  While the resort does utilize bus transportation to the parks (as does Pop Century), there are lots of other great benefits.  If you can get a savannah view room, you can actually see animals roaming right outside your window.  Even if a savannah view room isn't in your budget, you can still walk to various areas throughout the resort to see animals.  There are also several fabulous restaurants on property.
