Season's greetings, Jaclyn!
Thank you so much for sending us this very merry question, and welcome to planDisney, the jolliest place on the internet! As a big fan of the holiday season myself, I am so excited that you stopped by to send us this magical question. What a great way to celebrate being halfway to the holidays! Plus, there is no better way to ring in the holiday season than by visiting the Walt Disney World Resort.
You are correct that Guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels will be able to purchase
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party tickets starting on June 30th, 2022, while other Guests will be able to start buying their tickets beginning on July 7th. You can purchase these tickets two ways: online on the
Walt Disney World Resort website or on your
My Disney Experience mobile app by searching "Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party" in the search bar. The most important step of this process, however, is that your Resort hotel reservation must be
linked to your My Disney Experience account and logged into your account at the moment of the sale. Indeed, you will only be able to purchase tickets during the early-access sale if you are logged into a My Disney Experience account with a Resort hotel reservation eligible for the sale, so make sure that all of these steps have been checked before the sale!
Once you have your holly jolly tickets, the fun doesn't have to stop there! Like me, the Walt Disney World Resort likes to celebrate the holidays, so the whole Resort becomes decked out in holiday chEAR! One of my favourite activities during the holiday season is to visit the Disney Resort hotels with gingerbread displays, specifically the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. You can even buy gingerbread in the gingerbread display! Also,
EPCOT's Festival of the Holidays is another favourite of mine which will kick off its 2022 season on November 25th. Not only do you get to learn about how different cultures celebrate the holidays, but you can also eat your way around the world with festive food options. And if you like holiday music as much as I do, definitely check out the
Candlelight Processional. You might even see some of your favourite artists!
I hope this was helpful, Jaclyn, and that you and your Ohana will have the best day ever celebrating the holiday at the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your trip, please don't hesitate to reach out. Cause when we're together, it's a holiday every night!
Have a happy, merry, holly, jolly day!
Ariane
