I have never seen this question but need to know. A member of our party always wears steel toed shoes and insists on wearing them to Disney. I did not see them on the prohibited list. Will he be allowed entrance or does he need other shoes?

Hello Jaynee and thanks so much for returning to planDisney with another great question for us to help you with!

On average, it is said that Guests will walk approximately 8 miles per day during their visits to Walt Disney World Resort.  So it truly does go without saying, that whatever choice of footwear is finally decided upon, COMFORT should be the main factor!

On your behalf Jaynee, I've taken a quick peek at the current Walt Disney World Resort Rules and Regulations, and as you say, there aren't at present any limitations mentioned concerning the wearing of steel-toed shoes within the Disney Parks.  Therefore, to the very best of my knowledge, your travelling companion should be able to wear their most comfortable choice of footwear during their next visit to the magic of Walt Disney World Resort.

However, as everything is always subject to change at Walt Disney World Resort, and because Cast Members are simply Wild About Safety; it is always possible to seek the most up-to-date advice of Cast Members upon your arrival at the most magical place on earth.

Jaynee, I hope that I've been able to provide a little magical insight for you today!  If you should have any further enquires about your May 2022 vacation to Walt Disney World Resort, then please do feel free to pop back to planDisney once again.

Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
