Ahoy Aurlia –
We are glad to see you back again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Now I just love saving my gold doubloons so that I can plan more Disney adventures, and I never pass up a chance to book a future vacation with
Disney Cruise Line. Usually on the second or third day of the cruise, I visit the Future Cruise Desk and fill out a card of my top 3 cruise preferences. I do not need to know exactly where or when I want to travel, this will be my place-holder booking. The cast member will then send the card back to my stateroom later that day with the prices (along with the discount) of my top 3 cruises. I then circle my preference and turn the card in (the cast member books it for me). I have found this method to be quick, and I can avoid waiting in line to visit with a cast member. If you prefer, this can all be done in one visit with the cast member but may take about 15-30 minutes of your time. The deposit (usually about 10-20% of the cruise cost) is required to secure your booking and will be charged to your card on file at the time of reservation. Later on, if you decide to change the cruise to a different date or ship, all of the savings are transferred to your new booking. My family visited
Castaway Cay this last March, and we found the weather to be a pleasant 75 degrees or so. To me the water was chilly, but my pirate cubs splashed right in and did not notice a thing. Aurlia, thanks again for visiting with us, and please come back if you need more help.
