I have seen posts where you are able to take your light saber and droid as carry on. Is their a place at MCO where if this isn't the case that we could pack and ship them home?

    Hi Amanda!

I can tell you from experience that your Handbuilt Lightsabers at Savi's Workshop or your Custom Astromech Unit from the Droid Depot will be allowed on your flight. When we went through security, the TSA agents did have to do a special screening, but it was quick and painless. The great news is that according to the Transportation Security Administration twitter page, “lightsabers and toy robots” are allowed in your carryon and checked baggage. Should you need to ship your items from the Orlando International Airport, there are drop boxes available with some full-service companies located near MCO, but I doubt you will need it. If you prefer to ship your purchases from Walt Disney World Resort to avoid any hiccups, mail service options are available to meet your needs.

Please let us know if you have additional questions.

    Have a magical trip!
