Jennifer from TN Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I've seen people checking in as early as booking the vacation. Is there a benefit of doing it earlier then the day you leave?

Hey Jennifer! Welcome back to planDisney, and thanks so much for stopping by again! I’d be happy to talk to you about your summer Disney Vacation plans!

As you may have noticed, that Disney magic we all know and love is there waiting for us once again! In order to share in it, we must all follow some new rules and regulations to ensure the safest visit possible. However, some of these require some planning. For this reason, I highly recommend that you book your Disney vacation as far in advance as you can.

Disney Vacation Packages for the following year are usually able to be booked the prior summer. You can make up Room-only Disney Resorts Hotel Collection reservations to 499 days in advance. Once you have Theme Park Tickets reserved, you can then book your Disney Park Pass Reservations! This Reservation plus and valid Theme Park ticket are both needed for each Guest on each day they wish to visit a Theme Park. Availability is limited due to the current situation, so booking early will make it that much easier to plan the vacation you desire! Waiting too long could mean that there would be no Theme Park availability, especially during very popular times of the year. I certainly would not want this to happen to you!

Jennifer, I hope that this information helps you start making magical plans. Please know that we are here for you every step of the way, so do not hesitate to come back and see us again anytime you wish! We will be here.

    Happy planning!
