Hello Rita and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
As a "Nana" myself, I know all about making those magical memories with our grandkids. You are a special grandma for wanting to share these special experiences with your little ones. First, make sure that the day you will be going to the Magic Kingdom is not one with early morning Extra Magic Hours.  You will be able to identify those days by visiting the online calendar. Once you have made sure of the park opening times, you are good to go! You do not have to be staying at a Resort hotel to catch the early Monorail or Ferry. I recommend planning on arriving at the Transportation and Ticket Center (otherwise known unofficially as the Magic Kingdom parking lot) at least 45 minutes before opening. This will give you plenty of time to catch either the Ferry or Monorail with time to spare for the opening show.

I KNOW you will have a pixie-dusted day at the Magic Kingdom with your grandchildren.

    See ya real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Anne, Iowa

I’m Anne, a native Iowan, wife, mother, and grandmother. For me, a major part of the fun of a Disney trip is the planning. I have traveled to the Disney Parks in multiple stages of my life, including as a daughter, sister, aunt, mother and grandmother.  One of my favorite things to do is to travel with multi-generational groups. I am thrilled to be able to help other Disney guests plan their adventures. Learn More About Anne
