Hi, Lisa! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I'm so glad to hEAR that you are planning to use
mobile food and beverage ordering during your upcoming visit to
Walt Disney World Resort! I absolutely love this
game-changing service! What's better than a refreshing
Dole Whip on a sunny Florida day? Enjoying your Dole Whip without having to wait in line! Now that
Disney Gift Cards are accepted as a form of payment for mobile ordering, this service is even more convenient.
I'm sorry to hEAR that you're having trouble locating where to enter your Disney Gift Card number for mobile food and beverage ordering. I'd be happy to walk you through the process of paying for your meal with a Disney Gift Card. First, you'll want to open your
My Disney Experience mobile app and click on the plus sign at the bottom of the screen. You will then need to select "Order Food" from the menu that pops up. From there, you can select the
dining location you wish to order from, as well as your arrival window. This will take you to your chosen restaurant's menu where you can customize your food and beverage order. Once you've finished adding your items, click on "View My Order" at the bottom of the screen. Next, scroll down and click on "Review Order Summary." You can then scroll to the bottom of the screen and click "Continue to Checkout." On this screen, you will see "Payment Methods." The credit card that you have saved in your
My Disney Experience account will be listed as your default payment method, but you will also see "Disney Gift Card or Disney Rewards Redemption Card" listed as another possible payment method. To use your Disney Gift Card, click on "Add a Card," select which type of gift card you are using, and enter your card number.
Once you have saved your Disney Gift Card number, you can complete your mobile order. When you arrive to pick up your food, simply click "I'm Here, Prepare My Order," and you'll be all set to enjoy your tasty treats. Mobile food and beverage ordering is going to be so helpful as we enter this whole new world of vacationing with physical distancing.
Speaking of the new health and safety guidelines, be sure to follow the
Disney Parks Blog and check the
updates on the Walt Disney World website as you get ready for your upcoming vacation. If you have any additional questions, please visit us again.
Have a magical day!
Samantha
