Hi Darren!
So glad you grabbed a magic carpet and sailed over to planDisney! Truly, it's a bit of a “whole new world” when it comes to preparing for a Disney cruise...but so worth it! Those
Disney Magic at Sea voyages look like so much fun, and I will be glued to my computer watching for all the updates. Who knows? I might even see something that you share about it!
It’s thrilling to be able to travel again, especially after this past year when it has felt like we’ve all been in an “itty bitty living space.” So you’ve grabbed the planDisney lamp and rubbed it to find out how your travel companions should submit their Covid testing information for an upcoming Disney Magic at Sea itinerary. Naturally, it’s preferred that Guests present the actual QR code using their mobile device. However, I am told that Prenetics will also accept a printed copy of the Prenetics QR code. So if your friends do not have smartphones, they can still print out this information.
Here’s the point that they could not stress enough with me: Guests MUST create their Prenetics account using the specially designed Disney Cruise Line portal for Project Screen by Prenetics. This will ensure that the Prenetics account links to your Disney Cruise Line reservation. If you already have an existing account with Prenetics, please contact customer service at 0808-501-5089 to associate Disney Cruise Line with your account. These steps are also outlined on the “Before You Leave” section of the
Experience Updates page.
Since Guests in your group do not have smartphones, it makes it even more important that you download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app with location services and notifications enabled. The app’s recent enhancements allow Guests to make the required advance reservations for select complimentary activities. From attending our West-End-style shows, participating in Youth Clubs and working out at the Fitness Center, all this will be coordinated using the app. You can also reserve premium experiences like
spa treatments,
beverage tastings and dinner at
Palo. Finally, connecting to the virtual queue system must be done using the app to reserve time at
Goofy’s Pool Deck and AquaLab Deck using the app. Wow-guess you could say it’s as precious as the lamp was to Aladdin in having his wishes answered!
Darren, you don’t have to go to Agrabah if you have more cruise planning questions. Instead, send your Genies at
planDisney more questions. I promise you that we will not limit you to just three either! I hope you know that “you ain’t never had a friend like me” and my fellow panelists when it comes to trip planning. Wishing you a MAGICal voyage!
