I've seen multiple tips saying that a large group can share a single Memory Maker account by linking Friends and Family. But what if 2 of those families both wanted MM? Do both MM accounts get a copy of each picture or does the system mess up?

Hi, Nathan! We’re so happy that you stopped by to see us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

There are so many wonderful Disney PhotoPass opportunities around Walt Disney World Resort that I don’t blame you for wanting to purchase the Memory Maker service! From that special family photo with a Cinderella Castle backdrop, to the Magic Shot of your family being whisked away by balloons to the video footage of your friend screaming their lungs off on The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Memory Maker will capture all of those memories with a simple swipe of your Disney Theme Park Ticket or Magic Band, some will even magically appear on your My Disney Experience Disney PhotoPass page!

Having shared Memory Maker with another family in the past, I can explain how it would work. First, you must make sure that everyone is listed on each other’s My Family & Friend’s List, then on your My Disney Experience account, ensure that you have given these friends and family members the ability to see your Disney PhotoPass photos and vice-versa. Then, ONE Guest will make the Memory maker service. Everyone will be able to see the PhotoPass photos, and everyone will have their photos added to the account, but only the Guest who made the purchase will be able to download the images. This Guest can then share the images with whoever the chose once downloaded. This can be a little time consuming for the Guest who has Memory Maker on their account, so please keep that in mind before choosing this path.

Here’s a Disney PhotoPass tip: Always ask your photographer if they have any Magic Shots or creative ideas! It’s always fun to see what they will come up with!

    Have a picture perfect vacation!
