Greetings, James, welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel from a fellow parent of a child with Autism.
I'm so pleased to hear you'll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort and have to share that our son makes the most spontaneous developmental and social improvements during our visits, giving us such joy and great hope.
You are able to personalize your MagicBands during your visit by visiting one of two locations: "Tomorrowland Power and Light Co."
in
Disney's Magic Kingdom park or
Marketplace Co-Op D-Tech on Demand at the Marketplace in Disney Springs. I was in both locations recently and was looking for the very same Autism logo, but could not find it. So, instead, I personalized my son's MagicBand in blue with his name on it and I made little stickers back home with the Autism logo and affixed them to the MagicBand. I also added some of his favorite characters this way too. Both retail locations have a great variety of adornments and it's great fun that I'm certain your child will delight in.
May I direct you to the following planning tools in preparation for your visit:
-
Services for Guests with Disabilities with attention to "Cognitive Disabilities"
-
Autism and Cognitive Disabilities Services with attention to "Disability Access Service" and "Guides for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities"
Best Disney Wishes~
