Hey Kemah!
Welcome to
planDisney!
It sounds like you're planning a trip to the
Happiest Place on Earth! Like you, I’m ready to get back to the fun at Disneyland Park and Disney California Park. It makes me so happy that you’re planning to take your little one to the Disneyland Resort. My wife and I took our daughter when she was about 6 weeks old and we haven’t looked back yet! We’ve created so many memories throughout the years and I’m sure you will too!
As you mentioned, there are many rides and attractions that
don’t have any height requirements. Typically the rule is that the child sits on your lap and under the lap bar. At times I found that some Cast Members allowed a child to stay in the baby carrier on a ride like “it’s a small world” but not on something like Dumbo the Flying Elephant. Both of these rides don’t have a height restriction but are very different. I would plan to have your child on an adult's lap and under the lap bar for each ride and if the Cast Member allows you to leave the baby in the carrier then that would just be a little extra Pixie Dust!
Well Kemah, keep in touch with the
Disney Parks Blog to be the first to know when the parks will reopen and feel free to come back for more planning tips!
Remember, always Believe in the Magic!
