I have seen some info about a pirate and fireworks cruise at Disney World. Will my little girl enjoy it? She is 8. I want to take my 2 kids on it but don't know if it's something geared for boys. My son is 10 and I knw he will like it if it's pirate-theme

    Hi Mary,

Thanks for writing!  You are referring to the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage.  The evening begins with a pre-party at Disney's Contemporary Resort, where Captain Hook and Smee are available for a private meet and greet.  You'll be able to enjoy snack and drinks, before you board a boat along with "Patch" the Pirate, who will lead you and the balance of the crew in a variety of fun games, including Disney trivia, joke-telling and sing-alongs as you sail into the Seven Seas Lagoon.  Once you stop, your family will have a fantastic vantage point from which to view Wishes, the nightly fireworks spectacular at Magic Kingdom.  On your way back, Patch will captivate all with his version of the story of Peter Pan.  Your evening will end with a special surprise waiting at the dock.

This experience is perfect for young children.  My boys, ages 7 and 9 absolutely love the Pirates Voyage, and have asked that we go back on an upcoming trip.  I'm guessing your pirate-loving son will have a great time as well.  For more information, or to book a voyage, please call 407-WDW-PLAY (939-7529) or click HERE.
