I've seen a few say that if you stay in a value resort you will not have as many ammenities as you would a moderate, and same with a moderate compared to a deluxe. What are the differences?

    Hello, Nikki,

The Value Resorts offer all the perks of staying on the Disney property, but are more budget-friendly. The rooms are 260 sq. feet and have double beds. Guests enter the rooms from outside, and there aren't balconies. Guests can enjoy dining at a food court or have pizza delivered to their rooms.

The Moderate Resorts have rooms that are around 314 sq. feet with double beds. These rooms are also entered from outside and there aren't balconies. The pools have both slides and hot tubs. Guests have more dining options with a table service restaurant, a food court, and in-room pizza delivery.

Within the Deluxe Resorts, the rooms themselves can vary quite a bit.  Some are around 344 sq. feet while others can be as large as 440 sq. feet with all of them having dedicated hallways and balconies. Many of the rooms can also accommodate up to 5 guests, and the beds are nearly all queen size with better quality linens. There are also more dining options including room service.  Guests can also utilize valet parking and are much closer to the parks; some rooms have views of the fireworks. The resorts also have on-site child care and fitness centers. You'll find concierge services and suites as options, too. The Grand Floridian resort offers additional amenities such as robes, turn-down services, and specialized toiletries.

I should note that I shared general differences, so if you have questions over specific resorts, we are happy to help. You can also read more about amenities by clicking on Amenities & Services as well as Room Types & Pricing at each of the resorts
