Have seen different answers for topic fastpass+ combined w/ Riders Switch. If the 1st party riding uses fastpass+ to ride does 2nd party to ride also needs previously selected fastpass+? If 1st party uses queue line how many can join returning party w/ RS?

    Hello Maria Laura!

Both FastPass+ and Rider Switch help families have a magical time at the Most Magical place on Earth! FastPass+ helps eliminate long waits for the most popular rides. And, when you have little ones, (or not so little ones!) that don't want to experience an attraction due to height requirements or any other reason Rider Switch prevents having to wait in a long line twice.  I too have seen mixed information on how these two timesavers work when combined.  While some people have had different experiences, this is how it is designed to work:

Each person wanting to experience an attraction via the FastPass line must have a FastPass for that attraction.  Recently Rider Switch has been integrated into the MagicBand or entry ticket.  When scanning the MagicBand or ticket, Cast Members can view who has valid FastPass+ and Rider Switch. Up to three Guests can rejoin the party for the second ride.

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have more questions, please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We love to help!

    See ya real soon,
