I've seen different answers for this question on "Plan Disney" so I'm not sure what is correct. Can I transfer our luggage from the Dolphin to a Disney resort?

How ya doin' Jackson and welcome to planDisney!

The Walt Disney World Resort is a huge, ever-evolving magic machine with so many moving parts. Keeping up with the new info can sometimes feel like riding in the caboose on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. You just hang on to your Minnie Ears and go along for the wildest ride in the wilderness! Luckily we're riding right in the seat right next to you figuring it all out!

I actually just stayed at The Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel in December and had a split stay with my second hotel being Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. I discovered that while I could leave my luggage at the Bell Services desk once I checked out of The Walt Disney World Dolphin hotel to go and have lunch at Chef Art Smith's Homecomin', they would not move them to a Disney Resorts Collection hotel. What I ended up doing was going to pick up my luggage after my lunch and catching a rideshare option to my next home away from home. The price wasn't bad at all and there are always so many drivers around since it's such a major tourist spot.

Pro tip: Leave those bags and visit the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival! The International Gateway is within walking distance of your hotel. That way getting back to pick them up and move to your next hotel is a cinch.

Jackson, I hope I've been able to clear up any confusion for you. If you have any other questions please come back for another visit!

    Happy planning!
