I've seen many conflicting posts on here. I have 3 8am reservations in MK during our next visit. No EMH on those days. Will there be buses running at 7:30? If not, does anyone know how much a cab from All Star Sports would cost? Thanks a lot!

Hi Sarah and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

My family absolutely love early morning Character meals - lets face it, there is no better way to start a day at Walt Disney World. Be sure to have your camera at the ready when you enter the Magic Kingdom as you will have the opportunity to get lots of great photographs on Main Street U.S.A without many other guests in the background.

In all of our visits, we have never once experienced any problems at all in using Disney's Complimentary Transportation to get us to where we need to be on time.

Just a couple of months ago, whilst staying at Disney's Old Key West Resort, we had two 8:00am Advance Dining Reservations at restaurants located inside the Magic Kingdom. After checking with the Front Desk at our Resort hotel, we were assured that buses to the Magic Kingdom would start running at around 6:30am.

We made sure that we were at the bus stop by 7:00am at the latest on those two days and arrived at the Magic Kingdom in plenty of time for our dining reservations on both occasions.

Although some people refer to these early morning buses as "breakfast buses", they are no different to the normal buses which you will see operating and will simply be labelled as "MAGIC KINGDOM".

To put your mind at rest, I would recommend that you stop by the Front Desk at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort prior to the date of your first 8:00am dining reservation to ensure that the buses will be running early enough.

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
