I have seen conflicting dates for the start of the food and wine festival, one site said 9/25 but disney site said 10/2, do you know which is right, I want to plan my trip for end of September and hoping to catch the fesitval, thanks for all the help.

Hey Lesley! My husband is hopefully a presenter at the Food & Wine Festival this year and the Director told him that the Festival is starting the beginning of October. I think some of the outside sites are still listing dates from 2009 when the Festival started on September 25th. If you have a chance to stretch your vacation to that first week in October, go for it! The Food & Wine Festival is really an incredible treat!
