I have seen many comparisons between Smuggler’s Run and Mission Space as far as the simulation and up and down/side to side movements. The thing that prevents me from riding Mission Space though is the G-force simulation. Does SR also have that motion?

    Hi Connie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It seems like you've been doing your resEARch before punching it to a galaxy not that far, far away from Walt Disney World Resort.

While Batuu and Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge may be completely out of this world in details and coolness, I don't think you'll have any issues piloting the hunk of junk ship in Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. I actually made the same comparison between this new attraction and the X-2 Deep Space Shuttle of Mission: SPACE in Epcot when trying to convince my dad to liberate some coaxium with me a few months ago, and we can both confirm (much to his delight) that this new attraction does not contain the g-force simulation. The main similarities are that both missions take place in an enclosed capsule/flight pod, and each guest is assigned a specific job during their respective flights. I will say that Smuggler's Run gets pretty bumpy, so make sure all of your valuables are stowed away, bags are zipped and any beverage containers well capped.

All that zooming around the cosmos can really work up an appetite. Definitely stop by Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo after your mission where the theming of cargo containers carries over to some really fun repurposed seating. And while you're there, you must try the Batuuan Beef Pot Roast or the Endorian Fried Chicken Tip Yip, both of which are in my "top five favorite Disney things I ate last year."

I hope this helped to better plan your Disney Days, Connie, and We'll See You Real Soon!
