I have seen comments online re: the menu when using the dining plans. We have booked deluxe dining. Will we be limited to the menu items we can choose or do we have to order from a special menu?

In my experience, Julie, there are very few restrictions as to what can be ordered when using a Disney Dining Plan.  In fact, of all the trips we've taken using the dining plan, the only restrictions I recall ever running into were menu items intended for two people.  I haven't been to every single restaurant on property, but let me assure you that we have been to a lot of them and have never had trouble ordering what we wanted on the dining plan.  Dining plan guests order from the same menu as guests paying out of pocket and have a wide variety of options to choose from.  Enjoy your trip!
