Hi Leah! Thanks for reaching out to us here at planDisney with your important question.
As you likely know, the
Walt Disney World Resort is committed to making their experiences as accessible and inclusive as possible. This is one of the reasons I fell in love with
Disney Parks.
There are so many services for Guests who need them and so much is celebrated at the resort that you instantly feel
welcomed and included.
Starting May 20, 2024, all Guests seeking to register for the Disability Access Service will need to do so through a virtual chat. While domestic Guests can do this up to 30 days in advance of their visit, International Guests will need to wait until they are in the United States. You can even do this when you're at the parks, but the sooner you do it, the better. At this time, Guests will not need to provide documentation. Since your trip is a little ways away, I would ensure you are keeping up with the policies as your trip gets closer since Disney is always looking to make improvements for the best experience possible!
2025 is shaping up to be a great time to visit the resort and we don't even know what new offerings will be available! But what we
do know is that
Tiana's Bayou Adventure and the
Country Bear Musical Jamboree will be opening in
Magic Kingdom Park this summer and will likely be available when you arrive next year. Then there's
"The Little Mermaid - A Musical Adventure" making its way to
Disney's Hollywood Studios this fall! Also,
the transformation of the center of EPCOT should be completed early this summer. And then there's the astounding fact that
all Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel in 2025 will be able to access a water park on their check-in day. So make sure to arrive early!
Leah, happy planning, and when your magical vacation arrives, have the best time ever!
Reach out if you have any other questions.
I don't see how a world that makes such wonderful things could be bad,
Matt
