I have seen certain blogs that state not all Disney Resorts have elevators. Which ones do not?

Hi, Patricia, and welcome to planDisney. I am so glad you stopped by the most magical place on the internet to get your Disney vacation planning questions answered. Anytime I can help someone from my home state (GA is where I live but TN was where I was raised) I volunteer (did you see what I did there?

Can confirm. A couple of the Disney Resorts Collection hotels indeed have buildings that do not have elevators. The rule in Florida is buildings with three or more stories must have elevators. So where does that leave you without calling all the Resort hotels? Here is the short and sweet of it. Two of the Moderate Resort hotels have buildings that do not have elevators because they are two stories. They are:

    • Disney's Port Orleans Resort- Riverside: All the buildings in the Alligator Bayou section which is building 14-39 have no elevators while all the buildings in the Magnolia Bend Mansion section have elevators.

Patricia, I hope this helps you as you decide on where to call "home" when you visit the "Most Magical Place on Earth." As always, please feel free to stop by planDisney again or write me back directly for more Disney vacation planning tips.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
