Hi Chelsey!
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with this great question. I'm excited to hear you'll be visiting the
Most Magical Place on Earth in the new year! While bookings are not available just yet, it's always a great idea to get ahead of the planning process.
When purchasing a
two-day park ticket with the Water Park and Sports Option added to it, you'll have four consecutive days to use your tickets within. This ticket type allows you two days at the theme parks and two additional visits to either the water parks, ESPN Wide World of Sports, or even some golfing. Using the four days allotted, you can set up your schedule the best you see fit. You can spend full days at both the Magic Kingdom and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and then schedule a full day (or two) at one of the two water parks.
At this time,
park reservations are required for entry into the theme parks each day. Once your tickets are purchased, make sure to secure your reservations as soon as possible.
Theme park availability is constantly changing, so there is a chance that certain parks will be unavailable at times. Reservations are not required for entry into the water parks at this time. Simply show up with a valid park ticket on the days you wish to visit.
If you only plan to visit the water park once, you will have an additional fun activity you can plan. There are two miniature golf courses that you can experience while there. Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course and
Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course are both included in the Water Park and Sports Option. I'm a bit partial to the Winter Summerland courses, but each option is a ton of fun. It's a great change of pace from a busy park day.
Chelsey, I hope you have an amazing time during your stay!
