It seems that Walt Disney World has been expanding their food offerings to offer more healthy selections. We prefer to serve our kids organic foods to the extent possible. Do you know if organic milk is being offered at the resorts or parks yet?

    Hi Jessica!

I think that it is so great that you focus on serving your family organic foods! I also love that you are still offering your children healthy food while you are vacationing.

One of the things that I love about the Walt Disney World Resort is that they aren’t “Frozen” in time. They know that families are focused on healthy living and they really have come a long way in not only recognizing that, but also offering many healthy food choices. While you are vacationing, one of the ways that you can identify healthy and nutritious food choices while in the parks is to look for The Mickey Check. This can be found on select kids meals and fruit carts throughout Disney Parks. One of my favorite places to stop to get my kids some healthy foods is at the Harambe Fruit Market at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. It is always a favorite place to grab a refreshing snack!

Unfortunately it does not appear that organic milk is being offered at this time. They do offer whole milk, 2% milk, and fat free or skim milk. I do like to suggest using a grocery service such as Garden Grocer. Even though there is a small fee for delivery, for my family it is worth it to have the exact groceries that we want. I do know that they deliver organic milk along with many other organic choices.

One last thing, don’t “Let It Go”, your hopes of organic milk being offered at Disney Parks. (Did you see what I did there?!) It always seems that Disney is always trying to accommodate guest’s wants and needs. I wouldn’t be surprised if in the future they start offering more organic choices!

I hope that you and your family have a magical time at my happy place!
