Hi! This seems like a silly question but very important to my kids. We are having dinner at the Akershus. My daughter will defiinately not like the dessert that they serve family style. Can she get an ice cream sundae instead? Thank you for the response.

Hi Stephanie, There's no such thing as a silly question...especially when it has to do with dessert! ;)

I called and spoke with a wonderful Cast Member in the Norway Pavilion for you. All of the options offered at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall are traditional Norwegian desserts. I inquired about ice-cream and learned that they don't have it their restaurant at all. However, the beer cart which is located outside in the Norway Pavilion does have the Mickey Ice-Cream bars for purchase. If your princess chooses not to eat the dessert that comes with her meal, you can treat her to a Mickey bar after-wards instead. In my opinion, those are one of the best treats at Disney!
