It seems like it is cheaper to buy individual tickets for 2 separate days, vs selecting 2 parks, one park each day. Does this seem correct?

Hi Deborah! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

1-day standard tickets have tier-based pricing, which means some days cost less than others. If your preferred park days fall on those lower-cost days, it is possible for two 1-day tickets to cost less than a 2-day ticket. It's best to test out buying the tickets to see which offers you the most value. We all appreciate a good deal! You can select the number of days, preferred dates, and additional options to price your trip and get to your cart without checking out to price the visit.

Some add-ons you might consider are Park Hopper and Lightning Lane Multi Pass. My family loves both of these options. We like the flexibility of being able to hop between parks, and we prefer to spend less time waiting in queues so that we can focus on the magic of the parks. When you've priced one type of ticket, go back and change your options to see which options or ticket types you'd prefer based on cost and other factors.

One thing to note: If you intend on selecting Park Hopper, a 2-day ticket might offer better value, because Park Hopper is a flat cost for the length of your stay. Prices and terms are subject to change, and theme park reservations are not guaranteed. It is possible for parks or days to fill up. So, make your admission ticket and theme park selections as soon as possible, while availability isn't limited.

You don't want to miss out on all the festivities of the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort, which will be here before you know it. My family will be visiting during the holidays too, and we've got the Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay in New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park at the top of our must-do list. I've got to see Jack and his friends! If it's on your must-do list as well, be aware that the Attraction is currently utilizing a virtual queue while the stand-by queue undergoes continued refurbishment. It's a popular experience, but you can attempt to join the queue using the Disneyland mobile app.

    I hope this helps!
