    It seems I always hear the same restaurants and character meals suggested. Does anyone have any favorite, off-the-beaten-path recommendations? We love to discover hidden gems. :)

    I don't know if this is considered off the beaten path, but one of my family's favorite places is the Plaza Restaurant in the Magic Kingdom.  It is a lovely little Victorian restaurant with simple but tasy menu choices.  It serves mostly sandwiches, and has some great vegetarian choices.  I recommend the german potato salad and toss in a milk shake!  My kids love to order the mini chocolate chip cookies with milk for dessert. 

    Plaza Restaurant is located right on Main Street.  This is not a huge restaurant, so it is a great place for a relaxing lunch during your day in the Magic Kingdom.  It is a nice alternative from a counter service lunch.
