Hello, Rochelle,
Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I don't think your question is silly at all! I know that my family treasures many traditions, especially food, when we visit Walt Disney World. From starting our mornings at the Magic Kingdom with a delicious cinnamon roll (with extra frosting!) from
Gaston's Tavern to wandering around Adventureland eating
Dole Whips from Aloha Isle to cool off in the afternoon, and finishing our day with a warm box of popcorn to share during
Happy Ever After fireworks, we have grown to see food as an attraction at Walt Disney World. It is wonderful that there is so much to choose from at the theme parks, resorts, and Disney Springs, and there is always something new to add to our "must-haves"!
Of course, one of the famous snacks at
Disney's Pop Century Resort is the tie-dye cheesecake which is as much as pleasure for the eyes as it is for the palate. Would you believe I actually have a 2006
Woman's World magazine I've kept all this time because it has a recipe for the tie-dye cheesecake from Walt Disney World? It is that good! Whether guests are finding comfort in revisiting an old favorite or experiencing the cheesecake for the first time, I'm hopeful guests will be able to find it at
Everything POP Shopping and Dining when the resort opens up on July 10, 2020 (date is subject to change). However, we don't know what will be on the menu at this time. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that it is offered!
Wishing you a Disney Day! Please let us know if you have any further questions. -Kara
