I seem to remember there being some type of teacher or educational store or exhibit somewhere at Walt Disney World. If there is which park is it in? I would like to get some items for my special needs pre-k classroom such as a MM chalkboard pointer.

Hi, Patty!  I am still a fairly newly minted teacher, having just obtained my teaching certification a year and a half ago, so I don't recall a teacher or educational store or exhibit anywhere at Walt Disney World.  I have, however, seen those Mickey Mouse hand pointers that you are referring to, and they were readily available throughout the theme parks and gift shops in past visits.

I especially love going to the World of Disney in the Downtown Disney Marketplace area, and Mouse Gears at Epcot for stationery type things.  You can find a variety of items you can use in a classroom either as decoration or in a more practical manner.  My favorite thing that I picked up on a recent visit were Disney themed Post-It Notes.  There was a pizza shaped one with Mickey Mouse pepperoni, which turned out to be a student favorite.

Good luck in your search!  I have yet to run across a Disney themed classroom, but I always imagine if I get my own some day, that's exactly what I'll have.

    Thank you for your question.
