Hello, Melanie,
How wonderful that you've been going to Walt Disney World so regularly that you are considering purchasing an Annual Pass; it can really be great option and a good savings for some guests. For example, we knew we'd be visiting in June two years in a row, so we invested in them. Our first trip we took toward the last half of June then a year later we went the first part of June so we could still use our Annual Passes. For us, that saved us money rather than purchasing two separate set of theme park tickets both trips.
You will find that it is probably also best for you to do the math to see how the numbers add up. Walt Disney World recently added new options with purchasing
Annual Passes. You can purchase a Disney Platinum Plus Pass ($829 for guests 10 and older) or the Disney Platinum Pass ($749 for guests 10 and older). Please keep in mind that prices are subject to change; the above link explains the differences between them. In comparison, a 10 day theme park ticket with the park hopper option for guests 10 and older is $456.89.
You'll want to compare how the different ticket options would work for you over the course of a year, and I'd also ask yourself if you'll take advantage of the extra features included in the Annual Passes. Similarly, it may be helpful to look over the
Annual Passholder Benefits and Discounts such as resort discounts to see if that would make a difference for you. You'll then compare how one is next to another to see which is the best option for you.
