Hi Dolores,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! I’m so excited to hEAR that you’re planning a great, big, beautiful family vacation, you all will have a blast! I planned a huge family vacation a few years ago and we made some lifelong memories that we still talk about to this day.
As you’re beginning to plan, it’s important to think about where you’re staying. One of the great benefits of staying in a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel is that you’re able to be close to the magic! Of course, there are various room types:
Value,
Moderate,
Deluxe, and
Deluxe Villas.
If you want separate spaces, you could do multiple Value or Moderate rooms. Or if you prefer to have the same living space and kitchen with separate bedrooms and bathrooms, the Deluxe Villas could be a great option (some hotels have three bedroom villas). Some of my favorite resorts I’ve stayed in are
Disney’s Pop Century Resort,
Disney’s Art of Animation,
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort,
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, and
The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Take a look at the
Disney Resorts Collection and see which might be the best for your party!
For your tickets, since you know how many days you’re looking for, you’ll just want to determine if you want to do
one park per day or have Park Hopper tickets. If you have one park per day, keep in mind that you’ll be able to exit and re-enter the same park that you have a reservation for that day. So, if you’re staying at Disney’s Grand Floridian and you’re doing a Magic Kingdom Park day, you could head back to the resort, enjoy some down time, then head back into the Park for fireworks! With Park Hopper tickets, you’ll be able to enter another Park after 2:00 p.m. in the afternoon.
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare for your 2023 vacation. Over the coming months, if you have other planning or vacation questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
