Hi there, Priscilla!
Welcome to planDisney! I am very glad that you reached out to us about allergy-friendly treats! Our family has many food allergies, and I understand the importance of finding safe, tasty snacks on vacation. I love that I can always find delicious food that everyone in my family can enjoy at Disneyland Resort!
Fortunately, there are many
peanut-free treats at Disneyland in my experience! Some of our favorite peanut-free snacks can be found in outdoor vending carts located throughout the parks, including popcorn (which often contains coconut oil), pickles (they are extra tasty at Disneyland), Nestle Mickey's Premium Ice Cream Bars, churros, and Minute Maid Frozen Lemonade.
My kids also love Daisy's Goody-Goody Donuts at
Cafe Daisy in Mickey's Toontown. These house-made mini-donuts are covered with cinnamon sugar and served warm. I can't stop eating them! DOLE Whip® Pineapple Soft Serves and Pixar Pier Frosty Parfaits (which often contain coconut) are also a hit with our family. Green Milk and Blue Milk are other refreshing options that can be found at the
Milk Stand inside
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. I am Team Blue Milk, although my kids are divided on which one is their favorite!
Candy Palace in Disneyland Park, as well as
Bing Bong's Sweet Stuff and
Trolley Treats in Disney California Adventure Park, usually have peanut-free, prepackaged candy. My kids always take home at least one bag of Gummi Disney Characters. When I was there last month, I found bags of adorable Gummi Butterflies featuring Daisy. I bought one package for my children and another one for me! We usually avoid the freshly made items at these locations because many of the treats contain nuts in the display case.
Did you know that you can
mobile-order food on the Disneyland mobile app? Many quick-service restaurants have allergy-friendly options that can be ordered directly from your phone! Look for the "Peanut/Tree Nut Allergy-Friendly" section on the menus. Flo's V8 Cafe, Galactic Grill, Alien Pizza Planet, and Smokejumpers Grill have some of our favorite allergy-friendly offerings that can be mobile-ordered.
Some peanut-free items are made in the same facility or on the same equipment as peanuts or other nuts. I always recommend checking ingredient lists for all food and talking to a Cast Member before deciding what you feel comfortable consuming. Ingredients can change anytime, and Disneyland cannot guarantee that any item is completely free of allergens. However, my family has safely eaten at Disneyland countless times, and we will continue to do so!
Priscilla, I hope this information was helpful. If you have additional questions about dining with food allergies at Disneyland Resort, feel free to
contact me directly!
Wishing you a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
