I will be seeing a movie that will end after closing. Will the walkway to SS be open or should I just drive?

Hey Amanda! Thanks for bringing your question to us here at planDisney. Your upcoming visit includes two of my favorite things: a trip to Disney Springs and a stay at a Deluxe Resort. You clearly have excellent taste, and I wonder if you plan on getting dinner delivered right to your seat at the AMC Disney Springs 24 Dine-In Theatre? You can't go wrong with some Pretzel Bites, and the Korean Fried Cauliflower sounds really good! But before I get too distracted by food, let me answer your question about how to get back to your room at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa.

I took a look in the planDisney history book and found answers to similar questions about the walkway to Disney Springs, and each indicated that the walkway hours are the same as the posted hours for Disney Springs on a given day. Not one to rely on history alone, I went ahead and reached out to a Cast Member and can confirm that if Disney Springs is closed when your movie ends, the walkway will be closed as well. The silver lining is that you will enjoy complimentary parking for the length of your stay at Disney Springs should you choose to drive, so I call that a win.

I hope that helps you plan out transportation for your movie night, Amanda! Let us know if there's anything else you need as you plan your activities and itinerary. We'd be more than happy to help.

    Stay magical,
    Scott
