Welcome to planDisney, Paige. We’re happy to have you!
I’m so very excited to see that your
visit is days away. You must be deep in the packing process, and as a mom of two, I know you are double-checking your packing list daily. I like to pack our outfits by day rather than by person for my little ones. It helps me keep their outfits coordinated since I try and dress them in like colors each day. Although now that my daughter is slightly older, she would rather pick her own outfits, so it does take a little convincing on my end.
Strollers are also a huge part of the packing process. We recently graduated from our stroller, which has been bittersweet. I miss having a place to store my cup and hold my purchases. Thankfully,
lockers are always an option! We like to rent one to store a possible change of clothes for the littles, extra snacks, water, and rain gear! So keep this in mind, if you are anything like me, and an overpacker too.
According to the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules, any “trailer-like object that is pushed or pulled or towed by an Electric Conveyance Vehicle, wheelchair, stroller, or person” is prohibited. This would include a BuggyBoard, or similar device. I recommend detaching your riding board if you have one on your stroller. I also recommend double-checking the size of your stroller before you arrive. As a reminder, strollers greater than 31” in width and 52” in length, and stroller wagons are prohibited.
Paige, you also have the option to
rent a stroller in the theme parks once you arrive, or you can still try and see if you can rent one from a Disney Featured Provider like ScooterBug. Please keep in mind that rentals are based on a first-come, first-served method.
I hope this helps answer your question so that you can get back to planning for your visit. If you think of anything else we can help with, you know where
to find us!
See ya real soon,
Shantel
