Seeing a lot of talk about the capacity of Hollywood Studios and possible closing of the parks what happens if you have a meal reservation in a park that is closed? Can you still get in for your reservation or do you just have to give up your reservation

    Hi, there!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Catherine. We're glad to see you again!

With so many new and magical offerings at the Walt Disney World Resort, now more than ever is the time to visit. The addition of Toy Story Land last summer and the upcoming opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, makes Disney's Hollywood Studios is THE place to be! Guests are super excited to explore Batuu, myself included. This long forgotten planet on the edge of the galaxy is home to Black-Spire Outpost, a unique village with many mysterious secrets just waiting to be uncovered. No wonder there's so much hype!

It is possible that access to Disney's Hollywood Studios may be restricted or unavailable depending on Guest demand during this exciting time. Rest assured, though, that if you have a dining reservation at a restaurant within this park and it has been closed due to capacity, you will be permitted to enter. As long as you have theme park admission and a valid dining reservation, you won't have to worry about missing your meal due to crowd levels. I imagine that much the same as an early morning breakfast reservation, a Cast Member will likely validate your reservation when you arrive at the theme park.

I hope this was helpful, Catherine. Please let me know if you have any other questions! I'd love to help you plan a magical stay.
