What section of Disney Pop Century resort will a preferred pool view room be located?

Hiya Jennifer - welcome to planDisney!

With so many Resort and room options at Walt Disney World Resort, it can sometimes be overwhelming to pick what will be best for your crew! You've already made a great choice by looking at Disney's Pop Century Resort. I love the fun and bright decades-based theming, the recently refreshed rooms, and the convenient Disney Skyliner station.

If you book a Preferred Pool View room at Pop Century, your room should be located in either building four or building 5 in the 1960s area of the Resort and will face inward towards the Hippy Dippy Pool. This is a central location with easy access to the Hippy Dippy Pool, the Petals Pool Bar, and the Everything POP Shopping & Dining court. This location will also put you very close to the Disney Skyliner station and the bridge to Disney's Art of Animation Resort - it's almost like having two Resorts instead of just one!

So, long story short, this category of room is a great choice if any of those perks sound appealing to you. These are typically a tad more expensive than other room types at this Resort, so if what I described isn't really appealing, you can book another type of room for some savings. It's also worth mentioning that these rooms can be a tad farther away from parking areas compared to some of the other buildings.

I hope this information is helpful as you consider making a reservation - please swing by any time with more questions!
