What section of Coronado Springs is close to the food and a bus stop

    Hi Stacey,

Thank you for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. November is the perfect time to Fall into Magic at Walt Disney World Resort. Have you finished packing up your bags yet?

Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is my family’s favorite moderate Resort, and we’ve enjoyed it during several visits. Our latest one was this past December when we enjoyed the Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort.

The resort has been fully reimagined recently, with rooms now offering USB charging ports, Keurig coffeemakers and a fresh and modern look. But we cannot wait to go back and stay at the brand-new Gran Destino Tower, which now houses the new lobby. And Villa del Lago, which sits right in the middle of Lago Dorado, looks like the perfect place to enjoy the evening, specially at Three Bridges Bar & Grill.

Gran Destino Tower houses a new restaurant, Toledo - Tapas, Steak & Seafood. Barcelona Lounge, located in the lower lobby is a great option for a morning breakfast before hitting the Theme Parks. And on the 16th floor, you will find Dahlia Lounge, a great place to relax. There are many more dining options in El Centro, with El Mercado de Coronado, and Maya Grill to name a few.

Bus Transportation circles the Resort, with four stops. Buses going to or coming from the Theme Parks, will first stop at Bus Stop 2 near Casitas section, continue to Bus Stop 3 near Ranchos, then on to Bus Stop 4 by Cabanas, and finally to Bus Stop 1 which sits between Gran Destino Tower and El Centro. Buses going to/from Disney Springs will stop at Bus Stop 1, then 2, 3 and finally Bus Stop 4.

We’ve enjoyed staying at all sections, and each has its own beauty. In the past, I would have preferred Casitas 2 or 3 as they are close to El Centro, or Cabanas 8A which is close to the Dig Site and the Lost City of Cibola Pool. But with the addition of the new bridges, walking distances are much better.

One last tip:  don’t forget to make or modify any last-minute dining reservations. You can do it quickly with the My Disney Experience mobile app, which it now also has real-time transportation information to the Theme Parks. Was that two tips? See you real soon!
