Are there any secrets to pin trading that you can pass on? We have pins to trade but last visit it was hard to find pins that didn't look like they were the unwanted pins of others who had beaten us to the best ones! Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks.

That's a great question, Jill!  Two of my daughters started pin trading years ago and they've managed to hoard a HUGE collection since then.  The only real tip I can pass on is to visit some of the less popular locations when you're on the hunt for pins.  My daughters have always had great luck at the pin cart located within the Wilderness Lodge Resort.  It's located towards the rear of the lobby, near the entrance to Artist Point.  They have a pin trading book there.  Guests are welcome to look through the book and trade two pins per day.  There's something similar at Downtown Disney in the Disney's Pin Traders store.  They have a pinboard on the wall from which guests are able to trade two pins per day.  It's way more popular than the Wilderness Lodge location, so the pins turn over quite frequently, which can be a good thing.  Other than that, I would just advise you to not leave a single lanyard unturned (assuming you want to invest that much time); you never know where that "best" pin might be lurking.  Good luck!
