    Are there any secrets to getting character dining reservations at the last minute?

    Hi Danielle!
    Even though I don't know of any special secret way to get a last minute dining reservation, I can tell you that I have been able to make character dining reservations at the last minute. I once spent a whole week waking up at 6:00 am to call (407) WDW-DINE, to see if any cancellations were mine for the taking. I didn't get a princess dining experience, but I did get a reservation for Chef Mickey's, for a party of 9! We've also been able to get a table at other restaurants around the Walt Disney World Resort, but only when the crowd levels are very low. If your itinerary is not set in stone, you might be able to get a reservation when you least expect it.
    If you don't have any luck calling every morning, it's always worth a shot showing up at any of the restaurants to see if anyone has cancelled. You never know!
