Are there any secret restaurants? I heard there are a lot of Easter Eggs in Disney World and was curious if there were any surprises when it comes to dining :)

Hi Joey!  There aren't any real "secret" restaurants at Walt Disney World hidden away where only a few guests can find them but I do have my own list of those that I think are often forgotten and some of the best choices!
I will share some of those with you now.

The Plaza restaurant in the Magic Kingdom is a small gem just off Main Street that takes reservations and serves up some of the best milkshakes and sundaes on property.  Their menu is mainly sandwiches and burgers and its a convenient stop for a quiet lunch in this park.

Mama Melrose is off the beaten path in Hollywood Studios making this a great spot to check out if some of the other more popular locations are booked.  Great Italian fare and wonderful pizzas!

Our favorite stop in Animal Kingdom park is Flametree Barbecue and although you don't need reservations it is still our number one place to eat in this park.

Fabulous resort spots include the Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club resort, Flying Fish on the Boardwalk, Citricos and Narcoossees at the Grand Floridian, Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge, Trails End at Fort Wilderness, and Jikos and Sanaa at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.
