This is our second trip to WDW. The first time we stayed at POR happily. Is it better to stay there again in September to be closer to DTD or be at Wilderness Lodge, closer to the parks? Is it worth the extra $$?

    Hi Angela,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  Although the Wilderness Lodge is simply breathtaking and beautiful the only park it puts you "closer" to is the Magic Kingdom.  We love it for this reason, especially when we had children in strollers because the boats allow for them to remain seated in them during transit.

That being said, if you were happy with your stay at Port Orleans Riverside I would suggest you save yourself some money and stay there again.  The access to Downtown Disney is a great perk, it's a great way to spend an afternoon or evening.

    Hope this helps!
