Hi: second tm to DW,first tm stayed at PO mod resort, staying at pop this tm to save money,is this a bad choice? only sleep at resort, don't really care for swimming. spend all tm in parks. can rest at home. LOL thanks for your help. God Bless Teresa

Hi, Teresa,    Here is what will be different at Pop Century as compared to Port Orleans:   the room will be a bit smaller (260 square feet at POP as compared to 314 square feet at Port Orleans),  one sink in the bathroom, no slide at the pool, and no table service restaurant.    Value Resorts have a busier feel to them and you seem to feel the crowds a bit more.

Here is what is the same:   Free transportation to and from airport and around Disney property, Extra Magic Hours, and 24/7 Disney magic!

Since you don't spend time at the resort, you have made a great choice.     I hope you have a fabulous time in WDW!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
