There is nothing like a big splash at a Disney water park for some family fun time! I just checked the
park hours, and
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon will be open from 10am-5pm on the day you plan to visit. That gives you plenty of time for water slide fun.
While you will need a
Theme Park Reservation to enter any of the 4 major theme parks, Typhoon Lagoon does not require any advance planning or reservations. I enjoy not having to reserve the water park since weather can change quickly in Florida so you can alter your plans if you feel the weather might be better on a different day.
Don't get me wrong, the water slides are great, but my favorite is the
Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool with its crazy waves that will certainly take you for a wild ride! And here is a fun fact...The Surf Pool is the largest wave pool in North America!
Important note: Life jackets are available at Typhoon Lagoon, so please use as needed, especially for our little guests.
