Welcome back to planDisney, Gregory!
There’s nothing better than having a home sweet home in the Sunshine State. Being close to Walt Disney World Resort is quite possibly my favorite reason to call Florida mine. Let’s jump right into what qualifies a Guest as a Florida resident.
Even if you own a house or another property in another state, you can tap into
Florida resident discounts if you have other forms of proper identification. No Florida ID card? You’re good to go with the following:
-A government-issued photo identification card
AND one of the following Florida-addressed items:
-Mortgage payment
-Homeowner's insurance policy or bill
-Automobile registration, insurance policy, or bill
-Utility bill (power, water, cable, or phone)
-Mail from financial institutions or government agencies
P.O. Boxes are not accepted; it must be the physical address of the home or condominium. Also, make sure that your additional item used as proof of residency is dated within two months. Because you don’t have a Florida-issued ID, you’ll have to
prove your residency in-person at a theme park ticket window or at the
Disney Springs Disney Ticket Center.
Gregory, I hope that this gives you some peace of mind. Your next great adventure is right around the corner. Until then,
give us a holler here at planDisney if you have any other Disney vacation planning questions.
Magic always,
LeAndra
