Hiya Rishi,
Welcome to planDisney! How awesome that you can call the Sunshine state home. You are living my dream; I hope to one day be able to own a second home where I can enjoy Walt Disney World Resort more often.
I took a look at the
proof of residency requirements, and if you can provide a monthly mortgage statement from within the past two months that shows your Florida address, you will be able to purchase tickets using the
Florida Resident offer. If the other adult in your party resides in the same household, all they will need to do is provide proof of the same residential address. If they do not live in your home, they will need to provide one of the acceptable forms of proof to qualify for and activate a Florida Resident ticket. As far as little Mouseketeers, any Guest under the age of 17 does not need to show proof of Florida Residency to activate Theme Park tickets. They will just need to be accompanied by a valid Florida Resident at the time of purchase and activation of the Theme Park tickets. If you have a valid Florida license or ID card, you can verify your residency online during checkout, but if you do not, you will need to head to Guest Relations to complete the process.
Before I let you go, with so much to do this Holiday season, I would be remiss if I didn't share one of my favorite holiday traditions with you. The Gingerbread house at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is incredibly impressive and serves up some of the resort's most tasty holiday treats. Yes, that's right, you can get goodies from the gingerbread house itself. Please do yourself a favor and check it out during your next visit. The children will love it, and it will be a great photo opportunity.
I hope you all have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort. Let us know if you have any other questions as you prepare for your trip.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
