This is our second family trip to Disney but first time using the dining plan. Can I purchase snacks with my snack plan at the resort? We are staying in the family suites at All Star Music. Thank you!

    Hi Holly,

You certainly can use your snack options at your Resort, but you can also use your snack credits throughout all of WDW, it doesn't just have to be at your Resort.  Basically, all gift shops that have snacks, Theme Parks (including food cart locations), food courts, etc... will have snacks that you can get using your snack credits and if it's a pre-packaged item then it will have a logo/symbol located on the item or near it on the shelf (the symbol is a square box with four squares divided inside the large square in purple and white, one square will have a picture of a drink with a straw).  Please see the following link which will give you all the information you are seeking about the Dining Plan and how to use it.  If you have any questions about which foods can be considered as snack options on the Dining Plan either at the Resorts, Theme Parks or even Food Cart locations, please just ask a cast member and they will be happy to help you.  Better to ask than not ask and miss out on some amazing snacks you would not normally have thought would count.  If there is any packaging that says Family Size, then that will not count towards your snack entitlements, but most other food items that are approximately $4.00 or less are possible candidates.  Good luck and happy eating!

    Best Wishes,
    Brigitta
