Hi Mary. Welcome to planDisney.
I happen to have a friend named Bert (he's a chimney sweep), and he was just telling me about a lovely gal named Mary, and when the day is grey and ordinary, she makes the sunshine bright! I'm sure he was talking about you! Thanks for stopping by with your question. I'm happy to help.
Mary, the
Seats & Sweets Dessert Party is practically perfect in every way! It's one of my favorite experiences at Walt Disney World! The combination of delicious desserts, my own comfortable seat, and the
Happily Ever After fireworks is truly magical. I'm so happy you have a reservation!
From your seats at the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant, you will likely have obstructed views of the parade. I would not suggest leaving the dessert party to try to see the floats. Instead, stay and enjoy everything the event has to offer. I checked the
schedule for your dates, and currently, it looks like there will be two performances of the parade—one before the fireworks and one after. This is great news!
A few weeks ago, I visited Magic Kingdom to see the new
Disney Starlight. Oh my goodness, it is beautiful! Although I didn't have a dessert party that evening, I watched the fireworks from the bridge near the
Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant. I couldn't miss Tink's flight—it's my favorite part! After the fireworks, I made my way over to Liberty Square and found the perfect spot to wait for the parade. I had plenty of time to settle in, and once the parade began, I captured some of the most gorgeous videos! Watching the parade near Cinderella Castle tends to be one of the most crowded areas, while Liberty Square and Frontierland are great locations and less busy. With a plan like this, I'm wishing on a star that you'll be able to enjoy both the fireworks AND the parade! Just be sure to check the parade schedule for any changes on the day you arrive.
Mary, I hope this information helps you make your best plan. If we can help with any other information, please stop back and visit us anytime. You are always welcome.
Have a completely
supercalifragilisticexpialidocious vacation, Mary!
