Hello I have the Seats and Sweets Firework Dessert party booked for next week. I see Disney is starting a nighttime parade, will I be able to see the parade from the seats and sweets balcony?

Hey there, Lindsey. Welcome back to planDisney with such a sweet question!

You are speaking my love language by asking about the Seats & Sweets Dessert Party! I can't sugar-coat my love for this Enchanting Extras offering enough. After a day of flying with Dumbo, sailing with pirates, and laughing with monsters, this party is the cherry on top of a perfect Magic Kingdom day!

While I haven't seen the Disney Starlight Parade yet, I can't wait to experience it myself next week! Being a frequent Guest at the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant dessert party, I can tell you that you might be able to see the lights of the floats, but you won't have an up-close view.

But don't worry! I have some sweet news for you. I checked the Hours & Events Calendar, and during your visit, the nighttime parade is currently scheduled for two showings. So while you will be smiling and saying "Cheese---cake" and enjoying your desserts with amazing views of Happily Ever After, you will have time after your party to make your way to the parade route and see the second showing of the parade. Yay!

Lindsey, it sounds like you have the perfect Magic Kingdom evening planned. You are going to love seeing the sparkling fireworks from your own personal seats, and don't be surprised if you shed a little happy tear when Tinker Bell flies right over your head during the nighttime show. It is pure pixie-dusted magic! Visit us anytime with questions, and follow us on Instagram. We are Guests just like you, and we love nothing more than helping you make the happiest memories.

To quote Jiminy Cricket, "The most fantastic, magical things can happen, and it all starts with a wish." Have fun!
