    We have 2nd seating, on Pirate Night, we really don't want to miss anything-my 6 year old would be so dissappointed! Should we opt to eat quick service at Cabanas instead? What would we miss if we eat at 2nd seating time?

    Welcome back to the Moms Panel and it's awesome to hear that your voyage is right around the corner. Your little buccaneer must be beaming with excitement getting ready for this magical adventure on the Disney Cruise. Let the swashbuckling fun begin!

    My family and I always opt for 2nd seating. Don't worry, you won't miss anything as Mickey's Pirates in the Caribbean Deck Party starts right after your dinner schedule. The restaurants will also have a Pirate Themed night - so your 6 year old will want to make sure that he gets his pirate bandana at dinner, and maybe some ice cream before he goes out to party with Captain Mickey and Captain Sparrow. You'll want to check out the Personal Navigator for specific show times and character meet and greets for that evening. It will be a great time for your whole family to take some special pirate photos with Captain Jack Sparrow himself. Captain Hook has been known to drop by as well, just to meddle with the ship's guests. You'll likely also find the other characters in their pirate gear all around the deck and the atrium lobby. It's definitely a Disney signature evening that is a highlight on the Disney Cruise. The evening is topped off with a spectacular fireworks display - the only one of its kind out in the high seas!
